OIST Seaside House

OIST Seaside House is the main administration building and conference facility of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. It is located in Onna village in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa prefecture.

OIST Seaside House is the first working building of the future OIST campus.

Accomodation for the speakers will be provided in nearby hotel.

Okinawa prefecture

Okinawa Prefecture is Japan's southernmost prefecture, and consists of hundreds of the Ryukyu Islands in a chain over 1,000 km long, which extends southwest from Kyushu to Taiwan. Main island of Okinawa Prefecture is called Okinawa Honto, with Naha being its capital city

The sea that surrounds these islands has an emerald-green sheen, and the resplendent coral reefs are among the world's finest. These natural attractions are the scenario for our workshop.

Shuttle Bus to the event

Service of shuttle bus will be provided on Nov. 29th from Naha airport to Seaside House place. Please make your flight arregements according to this service.
